Me and my wife had our wedding at 255 Milledge on 03/25/2023 and I can't say enough great things about the entire experience! Me and my wife agree that it was one of the best days of our life and it was all thanks to Kim, Megan, and the rest of the wonderful staff at 255 Milledge. We opted for the month of coordination and it was 1000% percent worth it. The month of they handled all of the emails back and forth with vendors and the coordination with getting them set up and ready for a great day. We had a meeting with them about a month before and they ensured us to just enjoy our engagement and they would handle everything else. They totally delivered! We also opted for in house florals and everything was gorgeous! The day of the wedding was magical and Kim, Megan, and staff made sure everything flowed smoothly. Could not recommend them more! A wonderful experience! A++

Me and my wife had our wedding at 255 Milledge on 03/25/2023 and I can't say enough great things about the entire experience! Me and my wife agree that it was one of the best days of our life and it was all thanks to Kim, Megan, and the rest of the wonderful staff at 255 Milledge. We opted for the month of coordination and it was 1000% percent worth it. 255 was a beautiful venue to have our wedding! The garden is gorgeous, and you wouldn’t believe how many people and their chairs can fit in the green space. Bonnie, Kim, and Meghan were so kind and helpful throughout the process. It was so nice to have a calm and put together team by my side during the process and our wedding day. I can’t recommend this venue enough!

We had our wedding at 255 Milledge on 10/08/23 and I could not have imagined a more magical day! The staff was amazing and took care of everything. The day of if anything went wrong I did not know it. The venue is beautiful. I never imagined myself having an outdoor wedding until I saw the garden. We also used them for our florist and the flowers were beautiful. Overall everyone was professional. Everything went exactly as I wanted and we were so happy. Highly recommend.

We had our wedding at 255 Milledge on 10/08/23 and I could not have imagined a more magical day! The staff was amazing and took care of everything. The day of if anything went wrong I did not know it. The venue is beautiful. I never imagined myself having an outdoor wedding until I saw the garden. We also used them for our florist and the flowers were beautiful. Overall everyone was professional. Everything went exactly as I wanted and we were so happy. Highly recommend.

Using 255 Milledge was an absolute dream!!! While living in Athens, I visited 255 as part of planning a party for my boss and I absolutely fell in love with the property. Years later, once I got engaged I knew it was where I wanted to get married! We toured and my mom and fiancé fell in love as well. I cannot state enough how nice it is to have everything available on the property. From getting ready, to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. No transportation needed! We booked immediately! Throughout the planning process the 255 staff were so helpful with recommendations for any vendor I could think of, tips, tricks, and promptly answering my tons of questions. We had a handful of calls in our year leading up to the event to ensure they understood our vision and could execute everything perfectly. In the month leading up to the big day, we worked with our coordinator, Megan, who was absolutely fantastic. She was on top of all the details, knew how to time everything perfectly and made sure our day went so smoothly! She was so even keeled and helped us feel so confident for our wedding day. Everything went perfectly, and we truly had the most beautiful day without any issue! I would be remiss if I did not shout out Kim and Bonnie as well! They were so fantastic throughout our planning process and so helpful. I would recommend 255 Milledge to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Athens. They are truly the best in the business with the most beautiful property!

I could have not asked for a better venue…. The moment I stepped foot on property I knew this was the one. It was the only venue I toured and signed within the hour!!!! Upon meeting Kim and her team, I knew they had the eye and expertise to bring my vision to life. I used them for month of coordination and day off and they absolutely killed it. I was able to be so hands off and trust that they would be bringing my vision to life. It was better than I could have even imagined. I joke and say this to her but I truly mean it, Kim and her team could run the country!!! Megan and Cortney were an absolute dream to work with as well. They were to attentive and helped me with all of the big and small details. They kept me calm the day of. Even the tiny details did not go left unnoticed- even my bridesmaids were like wow they mean business. Kim greeted us on my wedding day with a smile and a mimosa bar as well as alka seltzer and Advil hahaha they just knew all the small touches that made a huge impact. I cannot thank them enough for literally bringing my dream wedding to life and being so efficient and exuding an extreme level of excellence. I am very picky and they blew every vision I had out of the water. I love you guys and thank you SO MUCH!!!!!! Best day of my LIFE

I cannot say enough good things about 255 Milledge venue and their entire staff. From the minute I stepped foot on the venue— I knew it was the one! During the day, it is gorgeous and green, and as evening rolls around, it becomes absolutely magical with the garden and string lights… It is obvious the venue is extremely well kept and taken care of. In addition to the stunning venue, the staff is top notch. Everyone goes above & beyond throughout the entire planning process as well as the day of to make everything flow as smoothly as possible. My husband and I just got married here August 3, 2023 and could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! Kim, Bonnie, and Meghan were incredible!! The day of the wedding, a storm hit knocking over all reception decor and soaking the linens. Kim and Meghan were extremely on top of working with my coordinator on rain plan options. They had everything replaced and in order for all potential discussed rain plans. Luckily, right before the ceremony began, the rain stopped and we were able to have our dream garden ceremony and reception. 255 was so open and excited to all of our ideas for the wedding and brought them to fruition! My husband and I got married here on 5.6.23 and it was the most magical day thanks to the amazing staff at 255 Milledge. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, the in house florals made planning incredibly easy, and the wedding coordinators at 255 Milledge truly made our day perfect. Since the in house florals and coordinators are so familiar with the venue, they know exactly what needed to be done. I went to Kim with my vision for the wedding and she did just that and more. I am usually an anxious person, but the team at 255 Milledge made everything so easy. Not once did I feel overwhelmed in the wedding planning process. Everyone has said it is the most beautiful and elegant wedding they have ever been to. I couldn’t have put all of it together myself and I am so thankful for Kim, Megan, and Bonnie to help me make this dream come true. If you book at 255 Milledge you will NOT be disappointed and your wedding day will be a dream come true. I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the team there.

We hosted our son and new daughter-in-law’s Rehearsal Dinner at 255 Milledge a few weeks ago…the guests have spoken and many said they had never been to such an amazing pre-wedding event! The venue is gorgeous and laid out so well for a cocktail hour, dinner with toasts and video, and the garden out back made for a gorgeous “night before” welcome party with drinks , fun photo memories and music. Kim took great notes during our meetings and I had full confidence she would deliver on all fronts— and she did!! And then some extra! It was a night many of us will remember forever 💕

Lucky for me, my husband happened to know the Moss Family and when I finally met Kim during the tour, I knew this venue had to be the one! Kim & her team were so diligent and communicative throughout the wedding planning process. We also hired Georgia Grace Weddings as our coordinator and they work very closely with 255 Milledge. So any ideas we had, GGW & Kim made the perfect team to make our wedding vision come true. Any concerns we had on our wedding day, they helped to take care of us & our needs. We loved how gorgeous our ceremony & reception turned out, and we received nothing but wonderful comments on how beautiful the venue was. We just got married at 255 last weekend and I had to take a moment to sing their praises. Guests pulled us aside all night to compliment the venue. It is absolutely beautiful, well taken care of and has a very intimate feeling - which is exactly what we were looking for. Kim and Bonnie answered all questions promptly throughout the planning process and made sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. Also - the location!! It was so fun to be in the heart of Athens and able to scoot downtown afterwards for a bit. 10/10 recommend!

Kim, Bonnie, and the entire staff helped me the entire way, starting from the day we selected 255 as our venue. All the ladies had wonderful communication, design ideas, and suggestions that helped everything come together spectacularly for our special day. Everything was organized on the online portal as far as payment deadlines, reminders, etc which was such a huge help as a bride who is juggling a million and one things. Kim was wonderful with vendor recommendations as well and truly made the planning process a seamless experience.The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and the garden in the back made for the most breathtaking ceremony spot. April was a wonderful month with lots of flowers in bloom! The bridesmaids and groomsmen suites are clean and well decorated. Truly the perfect spots! Even staff members I had never met the day of our wedding were willing to drop what they were doing to help me, all with a smile on their face. I can't recommend 255 enough if you're looking for a beautiful and memorable wedding venue!

We hosted a bridesmaids luncheon at this incredible estate and I don’t have enough words to describe how pleased we were. Every single detail was perfect! Kim and Bonnie were so easy to work with. They are very responsive and handled all the details with ease. Kim was on site the day of our event and she was an incredibly gracious hostess who made our guests feel welcome and comfortable. We cannot overemphasize the experience we had at 255. The entire team went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They are in a class of their own when it comes to event execution. Communication is streamlined, details are valued, and that doesn’t even cover the talent. Do yourself a favor and use their in house floral design. Every detail was tasteful and timeless. We had a great time getting ready there, and it was a perfect venue to relax and prep for the day as you got to watch the excitement of all the pieces coming together. 255 was the 1st decision we made for the wedding, and we truly can’t imagine our vision coming together without them!

My mother-in-law had a great time planning this special night for us and they went above and beyond to make our dream come to life. Plus Kim was just so pleasant to work with in general. The gardens are beautiful and make the most exceptional backdrop for wedding ceremonies. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, Kim and her whole staff were so easy to work with, and everything came together to create the most perfect wedding reception for our daughter and son-in-law who got married on the west coast earlier this year. Kim not only did a lot of behind-the-scenes work with vendors and us seamlessly...she was also the absolute best hostess, she was everywhere during the reception, taking care of all the tiny details you won't think of: guests arriving late (where should they go? Kim took care of them!), people handing cards to the couple and their parents (Kim was there to graciously intercept them and keep them all in one place!), the bride and groom change their minds about what they'll do doing cocktail hour and the first meal (no problem, Kim's got this!), a couple wardrobe malfunctions (Kim to the rescue!), unexpected rain (don't worry about a thing, Kim's not worried, she has it under control!), packing up stuff at the end of the night (Kim's right there waiting...and everything is accounted for). Really, we had the most magical evening: a beautiful, historic backdrop to a fun, love-filled evening. We can't thank Kim, all the fabulous vendors, and everyone at 255 enough, we were in good hands from the beginning to the end. It was perfect.

255 Milledge was the perfect place for my dream wedding! We toured in August and when I walked in I knew it was the perfect venue for me, I fell in love with the house and the beautiful garden. We also booked it at the perfect time because they were redoing the back which turned out spectacular!! Kim is a godsend and I really don’t know how I would have made it through wedding planning without her. Kim was always checking on me and seeing how wedding planning was going and answered any questions I had! What an amazing wedding reception venue! My daughter got married June 11, 2022 and we chose 255 Milledge for the reception. First of all, Kim Moss, is amazing and a wealth of information! When we booked in September, she was welcoming & so helpful. We met with her 3 to 4 times throughout trying to show our vision of what we wanted the reception to be like. About 2 months before the wedding, we decided that we wanted Kim to do the last month of coordination. The best decision we made!!!! Well worth the money because Kim took care of every detail that last month from making sure the vendors show up at their stated times to telling us how much time each bridesmaid had to get their hair done to passing out Mardi Gras beads at the wedding to making sure Lil Ice Cream dudes treats were getting to the guest while we just enjoyed the day. My daughter wanted to get ready at the house with her bridesmaids and take pictures with her groom & wedding party. The day was amazing and I was able to be there with her and the whole group! We had a friend bring in lunch & mimosas, then the boys came, followed by the grooms parents then all of the grandparents. Then came the reception which was an absolute blast! From the introduction of the new Mr & Mrs to the dance party, it was truly a magical night! While the guest went out front for the sparkler send off, the newlyweds had their private last dance of the night. This day was everything we wanted and more! We were able to enjoy every second because of Kim Moss and the beautiful venue, the Hardeman-Sam’s house. Lili and I can’t thank you enough for making this day a day of our dreams! Thanks Kim & your amazing staff!!!

Kim and Matt and the rest of the 255 Milledge team are simply amazing. If you are considering booking their venue for your wedding - do it! I recently had my wedding at the venue and cannot say enough to thank them for all the hard work and meaningful intentional details they put in to make my day a true dream come true. There was never a point in the process that I or my family or my fiance felt unsupported. They are truly the best cheerleaders and point persons for your day. I was really impressed with how equally professional and inviting everyone at 255 Milledge is. They made us feel heard and important while also offering excellent advice. Kim is one of the most competent and accomplished women I have had the pleasure of working with and she's also so kind and makes you feel truly special. The physical space itself is beyond beautiful from the twinkling lights to the well-designed outdoor bathrooms to the well-maintained historical details inside...there wasn't a single space in this venue that made me pause for even a moment. I saw the venue both before and after the renovations and was blown away by the work they have done. Before the renovations, the venue was a stunner on its own...after the renovations, it is an actual fairytale for any bride or groom. I can't say enough...use 255 Milledge they will make your dreams come true!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the 255 Milledge team. Leading up to the wedding Kim and Matt were so easy to work with and answered any question I had or problems we might run into. The day of the wedding it ended up raining, which for some brides would be your worst nightmare. Not with the 255 Milledge team by your side! They were in constant communication with my wedding planner and I on the different options we would have for the ceremony. When the time came there was a slight drizzle, and they made the most gorgeous ceremony under the tent with the garden as the background. They assisted guests with umbrellas and escorted them to the ceremony spot. They made sure everyone stayed dry and went above and beyond for us. Kim, Matt, and the rest of the team I didn’t have a pleasure of meeting- are the best in the business hands down. I will forever recommend them to any couple looking to get married or anyone who is looking to have an event in Athens!

The day of the wedding it ended up raining, which for some brides would be your worst nightmare. Not with the 255 Milledge team by your side! They were in constant communication with my wedding planner and I on the different options we would have for the ceremony. When the time came there was a slight drizzle, and they made the most gorgeous ceremony under the tent with the garden as the background. They assisted guests with umbrellas and escorted them to the ceremony spot. They made sure everyone stayed dry and went above and beyond for us. Kim, Matt, and the rest of the team I didn’t have a pleasure of meeting- are the best in the business hands down. I will forever recommend them to any couple looking to get married or anyone who is looking to have an event in Athens!

We had our wedding at 255 Milledge during Summer 2021. It was important for us to pick an outdoor venue due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the beautiful garden at 255 would have been able to accommodate our guest list of 150 people had everyone been able to attend. After falling in love with the venue, we also chose to hire 255 Milledge as our month of coordinating team. One month out from the wedding, we met with Kim Moss, the owner, and briefed her on all the planning we had done and any outstanding items/concerns. She took it from there and handled it all… day of timeline, lunch for the band, event space layouts, communication with the vendors, etc. Our wedding day went so smoothly. Kim and her team were there to greet us first thing in the morning and didn’t stop working until after we left. The entire staff was friendly, calming, and anticipated all of our needs. As the bride, I expected to be asked more questions on the day of, but never once did they need to ask me for anything. It seemed as if they took care of everything that could have potentially gone wrong. Kim even managed to catch my veil as a huge gust of wind took it out of my hair during my walk down the aisle. My only warning for a budget conscious bride would be that the cost of rentals was much higher than I originally anticipated when I created my wedding budget. Since it is primarily an outdoor venue, we needed to rent a tent, fans, lighting, dance floor, stage, and an extra generator. All in all our wedding day was perfect and I know that was primarily thanks to Kim Miss and the whole 255 team.

I had the privilege of having my May wedding at 255 Milledge and I can't recommend the venue enough. Kim and Leigh were so responsive and attentive and made me feel like their only bride when I know they had dozens of others with just as many questions and needs. If you want you and your guests to feel special and taken care of then 255 is the place. It also doesn't hurt that I'm still getting comments from guests about how beautiful the venue was! I cannot recommend 255 Milledge highly enough.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about this venue. From the first tour of the venue to the last guest leaving on the wedding night they went above and beyond. On the bright side since we didn't do the ceremony in the gardens we didn't have to move chairs around to get pictures! Overall our wedding was amazing and I cannot recommend this amazing beautiful venue enough!

We could not be more thankful for 255. Our original wedding date got postponed due to the pandemic - also our original wedding venues could not accommodate us for our new date of 5/29/21 so we were really stressed trying to find another venue and basically had to plan a second wedding. Once we found 255 we were blown away by its beauty, its staff and everything in between. They welcomed us with wide open arms and took care of every thing. Our stress of having to replan an entire wedding quickly disappeared. The owner Kim is amazing and so easy to work with. We could call or text her at any time and she would have an answer almost immediately. We hired the florist/designer Matt and he did an outstanding job. The wedding was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. He is so talented and so easy to work with- I’d trust him to do any and all flowers and decor for any event! Leigh, the wedding planner, was also amazing. She was very educated and experienced and was so pleasant to work with. All of the other staff members who helped out were so kind, so helpful and made the day absolutely perfect. The groom and I seriously could not be more grateful for 255. The three words that come to mind when thinking about 255 is “consider it done”. They handled EVERYTHING. They are truly amazing people to work with and I highly highly highly recommend this GORGEOUS venue for your wedding.

They went above and beyond to make our dream wedding come true and it turned out to be more than we ever dreamed of. Kim was very understanding of the situation and helped us reschedule without any trouble. We did floral/decoration/full wedding planning/bar tenders with them and it was amazing. Matt did a wonderful job with the flowers and all the decoration. Leigh helped us so much with all the little details we had and was always available and ready to help whenever we needed her. The day of our wedding was a full rainy day, they handled the situation so well. They had several rain plans in place 1 week before the wedding and the day of the wedding they were so understanding of our needs and what we wanted. They had a rain plan to do the wedding inside the house but at the last minute the rain stopped for about 2 hours and they changed everything for us to be able to have our fairy tail wedding outside in the garden. They also handled everything so well accommodating our guests. They basically made our dreams come true and we ended up having the most wonderful wedding and it was the best day of our lives. We are so thankful/grateful with the whole team. We recommend it with our eyes closed 100%, if you are looking for a dedicated team to take care of your special day then 255 Milledge will be the place to have your wedding.

Throughout the 1.5 year planning process, the 255 Milledge team never proactively reached out to us except for when a payment was due. When we had questions and reached out to them, it would take multiple emails and follow-ups to get any sort of response. When they eventually responded, many of our questions still went unanswered. This became a recurring theme. We had questions about the property, the rentals they offer, their bar packages, etc and had to email them multiple times to get any information. You would think they'd want to tell us about their rentals and bar packages up front as a selling point (more $$ for them)? It felt like pulling teeth to get this information. Once we finally got the info we requested, we noticed differing prices from what they sent to our wedding planner vs. what they sent us. We confronted them about this, and they told us they accidentally sent an old version to the wedding planner but would honor that price anyway (as I respectfully thought they should).When the wedding day arrived, rain and inclement weather impacted our event. After a 15 minute downpour just before the ceremony, the garden was flooded and we were told the ceremony could no longer take place there. When the rain stopped, my son-in-law took it upon himself to find a squeegee and clear the water from the garden, as the venue staff stood by and watched. When the reception began, we quickly discovered the bartenders we hired through 255 Milledge were inexperienced and did not know how to make basic drinks. Guests were showing them what to do which was very embarrassing. The bartenders also did not have some of the mixers that were included in the bar package we purchased with 255 Milledge, so they were unable to make some drinks entirely.My biggest advice if you are considering this venue: read everything they send you very carefully and get EVERYTHING in writing. We were told that many things were included with the venue that ultimately were not. It felt like they were nickel and diming us for each little thing we asked them as the wedding day drew near. We were also told that if there is another event the weekend of our event, that the two brides could share the cost of a tent since the rental companies usually drop the tents off on Thursday and pick up on Sunday/Monday. As wedding day got closer, Kim told us there wasn't an event on Friday, so we wouldn't be able to 'tent-share.' She failed to mention that there was an event on Sunday and she would be providing a tent, decor, stage, bar, and shelves for them. (OUR tent, decor, stage, bar, and shelves.) She even had the nerve to post photos/videos of this event on the 255 Milledge Instagram page, so that we could see our rentals and decor being used at another event the very next day. To say we were angry is an understatement.When we called Kim to discuss this inconsistency, she was extremely defensive and hostile. She refused to compensate us for the use of our tent or even have a respectful conversation with us. It was our hope to not have to leave a review, but we were left with absolutely no choice. My daughter works in the wedding industry, and knows the value of reviews, both good and bad. She and I agreed that brides and their families deserve to know about our experience with Kim and 255 Milledge. Despite the beautiful setting, we could not recommend this venue in good faith to any family choosing a location for one of the most important days of their lives.

255 Milledge is an incredible wedding venue. The house, the details, the garden, are all so beautiful but the best part about having our wedding here is the team at 255. They are WONDERFUL and offer everything you need to have the most magical day. They offer in house coordinating and florals and decor, both of which we used and I would recommend to absolutely everyone. Bonnie and Kim helped us throughout the entire planning process and were so welcoming and helpful. Leigh was our coordinator and made everything so easy for us and our guests, the entire wedding day flow was flawless and so enjoyable. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Matt did my florals and decor and WOW, he is talented and so creative! We had so many compliments from our guests on how much fun they had and how friendly the staff were. We loved having our wedding at 255 Milledge!

They are WONDERFUL and offer everything you need to have the most magical day. They offer in house coordinating and florals and decor, both of which we used and I would recommend to absolutely everyone. Bonnie and Kim helped us throughout the entire planning process and were so welcoming and helpful. My husband and I got married earlier in the year with just our parents, but we still wanted to have a night to celebrate with all of our friends and family. The owner is one of the most accommodating, understanding, and easy to work with people I have ever met. Since we had already been married, we didn't need to have a ceremony or do some of the typical \"wedding day\" things, but we still wanted to celebrate and pull in the parts that meant the most to us. The owner was so helpful in the planning process to help us figure out how to make the most of the gorgeous venue and our day. The venue is absolutely beautiful - inside and out - and is also such a relaxing place to spend your big day. It was so comforting to know that no matter what mother nature threw at us that day, we were ready because we had picked the most beautiful venue. The owner and her team are constantly finding ways to make this place more and more beautiful, and if you're not sold on the pictures alone - I HIGHLY recommend going to visit this place just to see how beautiful it truly is. The owner and her team are also so helpful in creating the aesthetic that you have envisioned - both inside and outside. They have so many décor options that are sure to fit the bill for any couple. The location of course speaks for itself. You are so close to downtown Athens, so close to hotels for guests with all different budgets, and on the most beautiful part of Milledge Ave. Any time of year, this place is where you want to be. The staff was also UNBELIEVABLE. Everything was just taken care of in the most stress-free way, and I can't imagine there is a better staff around. The owner was SO HELPFUL in the time leading up to our day - she was available at any time to discuss décor ideas and help us truly visualize the finished product, she helped us with selecting vendors in the area that she knew would do a phenomenal job, she helped coordinate all of the different vendors on the day of, she provided solutions when some vendors created problems. And you can tell that it has been a labor of love for Bonnie and Kim! The interior has been restored and updated without losing its charm and character. The grounds are beautiful, well designed and maintained. The pictures do not do this venue justice, it was perfect!! Bonnie and Kim were so easy to work with and they accommodated all of our wishes and worked so effortlessly with all the vendors so our day into night went off without a hitch!!! Definitely the most beautiful venue in Athens. However, their wedding day execution needs work. I got married here 3 weeks ago. At our reception the venue LOST POWER twice. No, it was not storming or weather related. Our guests were literally sitting in the dark in silence because when the venues power went out, the lights and sound from the band went out. This happened twice. We lost an hour of time from our reception. It was a NIGHTMARE. No staff at the venue knew what to do. The groom literally had to search for breakers and outlets in the bushes. He is the one who fixed the power - not the venue staff. Yet when the owner showed up to the venue later, she said this had happened FOUR PREVIOUS TIMES. WHAT?! If you know you have electrical issues, why is your staff not trained on where the circuits are and how to fix the power outage? The venue ruined our reception. If you still plan to book here, bring a couple generators as a backup. We have emailed the owner about this issue and no one from the venue has responded to us.

From the sun lit rooms to the beautiful blooming garden to the aesthetic pieces of furniture and decor - every detail of the house makes this place so magical!! All the spaces in, out, and around the house are stunning – there are so many places for gorgeous photo ops!! Now I must also mention the other great part of booking here: the dynamic duo of Kim and Bonnie!! Wow, they are truly the best in the wedding business when it comes to The Big Day!! When we first toured, Kim (owner/manager) sold me right away- she was so hospitable, friendly, honest, creative, and you can tell she has a passion and love for her venue. Bonnie and Kim also always got back to us so quickly with every question – via email or phone. And they happily toured us around the house multiple times on different dates when we wanted to show our mothers, our wedding planners, our photographer, and our siblings!! (honestly, the place is great and the people are great, so why wouldn’t you want to show it all off?) On the day of the wedding, a few hours before the ceremony, they do not allow cars to park in or near the house, they have to park in a back lot away from view – their reason: so that your photos aren’t ruined by all the cars!! Details that you don’t even think of like that show you that THEY. GET. IT. They think of everything and they make sure things get DONE. Our wedding day went so smoothly and I knew it would because from the start, we had THE BEST TEAM at the BEST VENUE. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!! We LOVE you guys!!! :D

On the day of the wedding, a few hours before the ceremony, they do not allow cars to park in or near the house, they have to park in a back lot away from view – their reason: so that your photos aren’t ruined by all the cars!! Details that you don’t even think of like that show you that THEY. GET. IT. They think of everything and they make sure things get DONE. Our wedding day went so smoothly and I knew it would because from the start, we had THE BEST TEAM at the BEST VENUE. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!! We LOVE you guys!!! :D

The house is beautiful inside and out and I loved having the bridal suite to hang out in all day. I had my wedding at this GORGEOUS venue a few weeks ago, and it was perfect! Everything in the garden was blooming; the portico and porch are elegantly decorated; and the inside of the house is so charming. I have so many wonderful things to say about Hardeman-Sams, not only about the venue itself, but also the staff. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend opting to have Kim and her team handle day-of coordination if you don’t have a wedding planner. Kim is a perfectionist about every detail. She made sure our vendors had what they needed and that everything was set up and displayed beautifully. She also kept us on track with our timeline so that each part of the night (ceremony, toasts, cake cutting, send-off, etc.) flowed seamlessly. There are so many little decisions that need to be made the day of your wedding, and I was glad I could relax and enjoy my day, knowing that Kim would ensure things were carried out properly. A few other things I loved about this venue: (1) The landscaping looked truly stunning, with lots of greenery and flowers. There were plenty of beautiful spots to take photos. They also treat the garden to make sure there are no bugs/mosquitoes to worry about. (2) I didn’t need to bring many decorations because the venue is already beautiful and nicely decorated. (3) The bridal suite is spacious, has a private bathroom, and it attaches to a sunroom, which was a great place to do makeup because there is plenty of natural light. There is also a groom's suite (also with a private bathroom), which many of the other venues I considered did not have.

Incredible venue. Even better staff. The house and the grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained. The new management here is very committed to restoring this venue to its original glory. All of our guests are still going on about how beautiful everything was over a month later. Most importantly, Kim Moss is an absolute angel. She is one of the most sincere people I have ever met, and she truly cares about the entire experience for the bride, the groom, and all of the guests. She let my bridal party arrive to the venue early in the morning so we could all get ready together and spend the day relaxing in the huge bridal suite and sipping on complimentary coffee and champagne. The groomsmen also appreciated the mancave complete with bigscreen tv and free beer while they got ready. As far as the process leading up to the wedding, Kim and her staff were always available and responded quickly to emails and phone calls. She was able to make a number of helpful recommendations when it came to vendors, etc. Since I was no longer living in Athens when we planned the wedding, it was great to have her as a point of contact. On the day of, Kim and her staff worked with my planner to make sure that I didn't stress about anything and could just enjoy my day. With all of the stress that can happen on the big day, this was HUGE! Kim also personally stored the top tier of our wedding cake in her freezer at home when we forgot it at the venue! There are so many creative ways to arrange the ceremony and reception. Ms. Kim so sweet and super helpful!! We had an amazing experience here and highly recommend this venue to everyone!

This is the perfect place for a wedding!! The house and backyard garden are beautiful and provide many opportunities to take awesome photos. There are so many creative ways to arrange the ceremony and reception. Ms. Kim so sweet and super helpful!! We had an amazing experience here and highly recommend this venue to everyone!

Although perfect for a wedding, this venue is not just for weddings only, but also any event you might wish to celebrate with elegance and style. After considering several locations, we booked \"255 Milledge\" for a 50th Anniversary reception/dinner and could not have been more pleased! The owner, Kim Moss, was exceeding accessible for questions, pre-event planning and ready to help with any issue, bar none. There was plenty of room for up to 100 guests and with tables/chairs included, a good flow pattern and a professional catering kitchen. And we would have loved to use the garden, as it is so lovely, but decided to use the house and porches only, given the chance of rain and heat that August brings to Georgia.\"255 Milledge\" is truly an extraordinary venue for any affair where elegance and style is appreciated and the owner is a lovely lady,gracious in all ways, and her Southern heritage roots reflected everywhere in the house. Awesome!

The HARDEMAN Sams House was an absolutely wonderful venue for our rehearsal dinner. The home is a beautifully decorated southern home that requires very little additional decoration. We were able to sit 65 comfortably for our dinner and the porch was a beautiful location for the bar. Kim was easy to work with and very helpful and accommodating throughout the day and evening. A good time was had by everyone thanks to her willingness to oversee the caterers, bar tenders, and guests. We would highly recommend this venue for weddings and other parties.

BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!!!!! I cannot speak highly enough of this place!!! We were planning a wedding on a quick timeline (4 months!), and Ms. Kim at the Hardeman-Sams house was nothing short of an answer to prayer. Having our wedding at this venue made the whole weekend and planing process so stress-free. We booked the whole wedding weekend package, which included the venue for Friday night as well. We hosted the rehearsal dinner at the house on Friday, and all of my bridesmaids got to stay with me at the house on Friday night. Also included in the package was florals and wedding coordinating, which was so amazing to have included!!I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH- MS. KIM (the venue owner and manager) IS THE BEST!!!! She went absolutely above and beyond to make our weekend so special. She helped my mother-in-law plan the rehearsal dinner, was helping the caterers serve, and was even dancing with us at our reception. I feel like she is part of the family now!
